Today, October 1st marks the beginning of AKAtober! We hope this month brings nothing but prosperity, abundance, and blessings. As we enter the fourth quarter of the year, here are a few things you can do every day to practice self-care. Throughout the month, you can have morning reflection time. For this, you can wake up earlier than usual and take time to read, meditate, and allow yourself to become level-headed and ready to take on the day. You can also take short mental breaks every day. Take five to 10 minutes in your day to allow your mind to rejuvenate by taking a short walk or treating yourself to a pumpkin spice latte! Do what makes you feel good!
A HUGE thank you to everyone who attended our Study With The K's event! This event was well needed for as mid-terms are right around the corner. We were able to spend time studying and received some excellent studying tips that will be implemented in our routines. For example, studying with essential oils such as peppermint, eucalyptus, and rosemary increases productivity and focus. Reading material aloud has been known to help with the retention of material. Food such as almonds, trail mix, popcorn, apples, and peanut butter are known to boost focus. We hope you all find these tips helpful as well!
For this month, we will have events, collaborations, and services ALL month long! Our first service will be on October 3rd at 11:08 a.m. Join us for a virtual service opportunity as we write comforting personalized letters that will be delivered to a nonprofit organization.
